ESPECIALLY FOR PETS ANNOUNCES
2008 EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

Especially for
Pets, a Massachusetts pet food and supply company with stores located in
Acton, Medway, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland and Westborough is proud to
announce Pamela Rogers as the 2008 Employee of the Year.
Pamela Rogers, a
longtime resident of Bellingham, has been committed to Especially for
Pets’ mission and its customers ever since she was hired almost two years
ago to work in the Medway location. Pam received this award of excellence
for several reasons including her exemplary dedication, self-motivation,
and ability to consistently exceed customer service expectations.
Lisa Hayes, Especially
for Pets store manager of Medway said “Pam demonstrates much compassion
for both customers and their pets, assisting in making recommendations for
their best care in regard to food, treats, toys and training. Pam makes
customers feel welcomed by remembering both their names and their pets and
offers personalized attention. She is enthusiastic in all she does, from
routine re-stocking and merchandising and welcomes any task with her
infectious smile and sense of humor.”
Pam’s previous experience
was as a volunteer, then a paid employee, and then assistant manager for
close to half of her ten year association with Baypath Humane Society in
Hopkinton. Pam assisted in kennel management including feeding, cleaning,
training, medicals and adoptions. She also fostered and hand raised
countless kittens, cats, and puppies. She has many "failed fosters" at
home, including a few that were deemed un-adoptable due to health or
behavior concerns.
“Because of Pam’s
experience at Baypath Humane Society, she has an incredible knowledge of
animal care and training and has fostered many kittens and puppies. Her
knowledge coupled with great customer service skills make Pam an
outstanding recipient of the Employee of the year Award,”
said Michael DiTullio, president and owner of
Especially for Pets. “It gives me great pleasure to recognize Pam’s
achievements.”
