Phinney’s Friends Information Day - FREE
Meet volunteers from our current recipient of nail clipping donations. Phinney’s Friends was founded in 1996 in honor of Bill Phinney, a MSPCA Humane Law Enforcement officer. Originally Phinney’s Friends assisted HIV/ AIDS clients with their companion animals, but services have expanded to include low-income clientele with disabilities and the elderly. As of April 2009, Phinney’s Friends is no longer part of the MSPCA. However, a dedicated group of volunteers joined together to continue this important work. Services include vet visits, dog walking and daily pet care. In the future, they hope to add foster care, food, litter and vet vouchers.
