This letter is in support of the pet supply store Especially for Pets and specifically the manager Erdmuthe “Erny” Isabelle.  Especially for Pets plays an important role in the Sudbury community and is much more than a pet supply store.

I have been a veterinarian in Sudbury for 14 years.  When Especially for Pets joined the pet community in Sudbury, it was a welcome addition.  Erny Isabelle is an effective consultant in pet nutrition.  New pet owners frequently ask questions about trends in pet nutrition and new diets that are available.  I refer many to Erny for counseling, particulary regarding holistic and 100% natural foods.  Especially for pets also offers obedience and agility classes and puppy play groups.  They offer grooming and free nail trimming.  There is a cat adoption facility housed in their building.

Especially for Pets offers complete pet care information and complements the client education that begins with the veterinarian.  Erny, in particular, has raised the quality of information available through pet stores to a very high level.  She educates pet owners in many ways, and refers them to their veterinarian for medical care.  I highly recommend recognition of Erny and Especially for Pets for their superior work in the area of retail pet stores, because they offer so much more to the community than simple pet supplies.  I don’t think you’ll find a better pet store anywhere.
