Erin – Manager

Erin began working at Especially for Pets in 2005 and was promoted to assistant manager in 2006.  Excited to combine her business degree with her lifelong passion for animals, she joined us after spending time as a veterinary technician. Erin also has experience as a fundraising and special events coordinator for a local shelter, a grooming assistant, and competitively training her Border Collie mix, Rascal. Above all, Erin is passionate about rescue animals and spends her free time volunteering for the Massachusetts Animal Coalition and House Rabbit Network.  She shares her home with her two rescue house bunnies, Cloe, a Mini-Rex, and Dolce, a Dwarf-Dutch mix, as well as several freshwater fish.

Midge – Assistant Manager

Midge joined Especially for Pets after several years in management in the pet supply industry. She has five years of experience in Canine Obedience instruction and regularly competes in dog shows with her Cairn Terriers. She is a member of the Cairn Terrier Club of America, (CTCA) and serves as the Public Education chairperson for the Housatonic Cairn Terrier Club. She is the Canine Legislation Liaison for the Merrimack Lhasa Apso Club and AKC. In addition to her dogs, she has a ten-year old Cockatiel, and has raised canaries, maintained tropical aquariums for over 30 years and is a beekeeper. She enjoys gardening, wood carving and horseback riding.
